Sydney Wide Painters and Decorators are dedicated to providing clients with the highest quality of painting services while providing a safe working environment for our staff, your house and most importantly you and your family.

Our painters are experienced in handling various materials, erecting scaffold if necessary, operate access machines like boom lifts and scissor lifts, and perform tasks safely.

We ensure that all our painters are equipped with all the safety equipment needed to perform all their tasks on site without any complications ensuring productivity is always being performed.

We adhere to Workplace Safety by proving all painters with the following Safety Gear:

  • Respirators
  • Eye and hearing protection
  • Protective clothing
  • Fire and explosion hazards
  • Steel capped boots

Material Safety Data Sheet

Sydney Wide Painters and Decorators ensure that when working on a commercial site a Material Safety Data Sheet is always on site for the duration of the job. A MSDS is a document that contains information on the chemical make-up, use, storage, handling, emergency procedures and potential health effects related to a hazardous material. The MSDS contains much more information about the material than the label on the container. MSDS’s are prepared and written by the manufacturer of the material.

Ladder Safety

Ladders are commonly used for painting.  Ladder safety begins with selecting the right ladder for the job and includes inspection, setup, proper climbing or standing, proper use, care, and storage. This combination of safe equipment and its safe use can eliminate most ladder accidents.

Our painters do regular checks on all ladders before using them. They inspect wood ladders for cracks or splits. Inspect metal and fiberglass ladders for bends and breaks.

Dulux Envirosafe – Evironmentally friendly Paints from Dulux

At Sydney Wide Painters and Decorators we believe we should be doing everything we can to reduce the impact on the environment, we are committed and determined to protect all our clients and their environment. Our Painting team members are aware of this and highly recommend the Dulux Low VOC Paint Range to all our clients.

Low VOC Paints

Sydney Wide Painters and Decorators know the importance of using low VOC paints. Low VOC paints are lower in Volatile Organic Compounds thereby creating less emissions and less odour.

Dulux has introduced low VOC products such as Dulux Professional Enviro2, Wash & Wear 101 and tinter system used to deliver the Dulux colour offer. The company is committed to further develop its low VOC ranges.

The benefits of using Enviro paints are:

  • They benefit everyone, especially those with allergies and chemical sensitivities.
  • Reduces landfill, groundwater and ozone depleting contaminants.
  • Low-VOC products perform well in terms of coverage, scrub-ability and hide-ability (covering flaws on previous coats).
  • Easy cleanup with soap and warm water.
  • Low odour during application; no odour once cured. No off-gassing.
  • Painted areas can be occupied sooner, with no odour complaints.
  • Cleanup and disposal greatly simplified.

Dulux Envirosolutions Waste Paint Hardener

Dulux Enviro-solutions Waste Paint Hardener converts unwanted paint into solid waste which can then be safely disposed in domestic waste. It is suitable for use in all water-based paints and water-based timber coatings.
